Officer Nelson Perdomo August 8, 1975 - April 9, 2020 The New Jersey County Jail Wardens Association is heartbroken at the passing of a 19 year veteran of the New Jersey Department of Corrections. Officer Perdomo, 44 years old, died on Thursday, April 9, 2020 from Covid-19. He was admitted to Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge after experiencing a high fever and weakness and was later placed on a ventilator. Nelson,  leaves behind his wife and three children. "He was a hero, a friend and a brother to us all and will be missed dearly." said Brandon Aponde, a coleague of Perdomo.
